A simple fractal applet...

  • Click on "Start" to start the computation in the main area.
  • Click on "Stop" to stop the computation in the main area.
  • Click on "Start" to resume the computation in the main area.
  • Click on "Reset" to restart the computation from scratch.
  • Zoom with the mouse by clicking on the center of the area you wish to zoom, and drag the mouse to resize the area. You can zoom either in the little icon on the right, or on the main area on the left.
  • Click on "Try it" to compute the new image in the litle icon area. This will not affect the on-going computation in the main area. You can zoom further on the icon area without waiting for the image to be complete.
  • When you are satisfied with your choice, click on "Reset" to restart the computation in the main area with the new set of parameters.
    • NB: if the main computation is stopped, click on "Start" after having clicked on "Reset".

  • You may increase the number of iterations (it increases in turn the precision of the image) by choosing "Iter" in the choice-list located just above the icon area on the right, and entering a new value followed by a carriage return in the textarea located below the "Try it" button.
  • Click on "Try it" to try your new settings.
